Sarah Howard Stone has long been considered the pioneer and major driving force in bringing back the lost of art beautiful French and Heirloom clothing in America. Today, she is nationally known as the Master of French Handsewing.

Sarah has served on the faculty of Embroiderer's Guild of America and the Valentine Assembly. She has traveled extensively over the years teaching and conducting seminars on this art.
